You are also encouraged to apply if you are unable to be home or supervise your children during the school day (due to employment, health issues, etc.).
This is available at no cost to families. The Montclair Community Enrichment Center is supported by public and private funds. (MNDC will help families who also qualify for the NJ School-Age Tuition Assistance Program to apply for that subsidy, which will go to the Center as a registered Child Care Provider.)
Keeping staff and students safe:
- Staff and students are screened daily before entering the Center (temperature checks, symptom checks, and exposure screening)
- Students and staff wear masks at all times (except for snacks and meals)
- Students are in small groups that will be grade-specific (to the extent possible)
- Students bring their own laptops and school supplies (no sharing between students)
- Staff reinforce hand washing practices and provide hand sanitizer
- Staff and custodians comply with all state regulations regarding coronavirus sanitation
Registration opens December 7, 2020, but applications will be accepted as long as spots are available.
